    Maraş Ice Cream Recipe

    Materials
    5 cups of milk (preferably goat’s milk)
    1 and a half cups of granulated sugar
    2 teaspoons of pure salep

    1. Put 5 glasses of milk in a deep pot and boil it.
    2. Add granulated sugar to boiling milk and mix.
    3. Melt warm water and salep in a bowl.
    4. Slowly add the salep into the boiling sugary milk and continue mixing.
    5. It is very important that the salep dissolves completely in milk. So stir until you make sure it melts.
    6. Remove the boiling milk from the stove and cool it by stirring.
    7. Once it has cooled down to a sufficient temperature, transfer it to a large bowl and place it in the freezer.
    8. After 15 minutes, remove the container from the freezer and stir with an iron spoon. Then throw it back in the freezer.
    9. Repeat this process every 20 minutes until the ice cream reaches the consistency of gum.
    10. When the consistency of the ice cream solidifies, you can serve it.Enjoy your meal.
