    Introduction:

Looking for a delightful dessert to sweeten up your day? Dive into the world of Turkish Ring Dessert, a Turkish ring-shaped pastry that’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, soaked in sweet syrup. In this recipe, we’ll guide you through the steps to create this indulgent treat right in your own kitchen.

    Recipe for Turkish Ring Dessert:

    Ingredients:

    For the dough:

    1/2 cup of vegetable oil
    2 cups of water
    A pinch of salt
    2 cups of flour
    4 eggs
    1 tablespoon of semolina
    1 tablespoon of starch
    1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

    For frying:

    Vegetable oil

    For the syrup:

    3 cups of water
    3 cups of sugar
    2-3 drops of lemon juice

    For garnish:

    Ground pistachios (optional)

    Instructions:

1- In a pot, mix vegetable oil, water, salt, and flour. Cook until thickened, then transfer to a mixing bowl to cool.
2- Once cooled, add eggs one by one, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
3- Stir in semolina, starch, and baking powder until well combined.
4- Transfer half of the dough into a piping bag and spiral it into hot oil in a wide pan, leaving gaps at the edges.
5- Fry until golden and crispy, flipping gently to ensure even cooking.
6- Once both sides are golden, remove from the pan and soak in prepared syrup for 5 minutes on each side.
7- For the syrup, combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Boil for 15 minutes, then add lemon juice and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
8- Repeat the process with the remaining dough to make more Turkish Ring Dessert.
9- Garnish with ground pistachios or your preferred topping before serving.

    Enjoy your sweet indulgence!
