MATERIALS
For the cake;
3 eggs
1 glass of sugar
1 cup of yoghurt
1 cup semolina
1 cup flour
1 orange
1 pack of sugar vanillin
1 packet of baking powder
1 teacup of oil
For sherbet;
3 glasses of water
3 cups of sugar
juice of half a lemon
FABRICATION
- First you need to prepare the sherbet. Put sugar and water in a deep pot and boil them. After boiling, add lemon juice, boil for another 1-2 minutes, turn off the heat and let it cool.
- For the cake, put the eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Add oil, yoghurt and semolina and whisk.
- Grate the peel of 1 orange and add it to the mixture to give a pleasant smell and taste.
- Finally, add flour, baking powder and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
- Grease the baking tray and pour the cake batter.
- Bake in the oven at 170°C for about 30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- The cake taken out of the oven is cut and cooled syrup is poured over the hot cake.
- After resting for 1-2 hours, it is served with decorations if desired.
