    Recipe for Antep Pistachio Baklava:

    Ingredients:

    For the dough:

    3 large eggs
    1/2 cup of milk
    1/2 cup of water
    500g of Antep pistachios
    250g of cornstarch
    1 1/2 cups of olive oil
    Salt to taste
    250g of butter
    6 cups of filo pastry flour (sifted)

    For the syrup:

    4 cups of granulated sugar
    4 cups of water
    Juice of 1 1/2 lemons

    Instructions:

    * Place half of the flour in a bowl and create a well in the center. Add eggs, milk, water, olive oil, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
    * Divide the dough into 20 equal pieces, shape them into balls, and let them rest for 30 minutes.
    * Grind the pistachios and grease a large baking tray.
    * Roll out each dough ball on a floured surface, sprinkle with cornstarch and flour, and roll out into thin sheets.
    * Place a sheet in the prepared tray, sprinkle with pistachios, and repeat with remaining sheets.
    * Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the baklava into slices and drizzle melted butter over the top.
    * Reduce the oven temperature to 150°C and bake until golden brown. Let it cool.
    * For the syrup, combine sugar and water in a saucepan, add lemon juice, and boil for 10 minutes. Pour the hot syrup over the cooled baklava.
    * Let it sit for 3 hours before serving. Optionally, garnish with additional pistachios.
