    HOŞAF RECIPE INGREDIENTS

    -250 grams of dried apricots (2 cups)
    -1/2 cup raisins
    -3/4 cup granulated sugar
    -1.5 liters of water
    -3 cloves (as desired)
    -1 cinnamon stick (optional)

    PREPARATION OF HOŞAF

    1. Wash dried apricots and grapes in plenty of water.
    2. Using a knife, slice the apricots into medium thin slices.
    3. Add water, dried apricots and raisins to a large pot.
    4. Add granulated sugar on top. Let it boil over low heat.
    5. Add cloves and cinnamon sticks to boiling water.
    6. Cook for about 15 minutes until the apricots and grapes are soft. Stir at intervals.
    7. Remove the apricot compote from the stove and let it cool down at room temperature, then cool it in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve cold.
